With former council member, Kwanzaa Hall vying for the Mayoral vote from Atlanta constituents, a bright, and eclectic millennial has his eyes on the open seat.
Fellow Atlantan, Nick Mulkey, has been passionately involved in several neighborhood revitalization and economic development efforts for most of his career – via nickmulkey.com. And now he is up to the task to serve as Atlanta’s City Council for District 2, the heart of Atlanta’s most diverse council district –Midtown, Downtown, Inman Park, Poncey-Highland, Candler Park, and the Old Fourth Ward (SEE THE MAP).
Friends and I had the pleasure of attending a meet & greet at Ponce City Market’s – City Winery, where the 26 year old candidate was happy to shake hands and touch on a few of his priorities which include: Homelessness + Planning & Urban Design + Housing & Commercial Affordability + Cultural Preservation + Education
If you’re in the Atlanta area, I encourage you to get to know Nick!!
Join him at CAFE + VELO on May 23rd, 5PM – 8PM.
