Jay already has his hands in everything from clothes and music to basketball… and of course it’s fitting for him to have his own festival.
Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter and Jay Z announced a two-day music festival called Budweiser Made in America during a press conference at The Philadelphia Museum of Art. Freeway (Jay ‘s music artist from Philadelphia) is pictured left.
There will be 3 stages and 30 acts throughout the festival at Fairmont Park on Sept. 1st and 2nd. The lineup will include rock, hip-hop, R&B, Latin and dance.
Jay also announced a portion of all proceeds will benefit the non profit organizations United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
No acts have been announced yet. But you can definitely anticipate to see Jay, himself, there on stage.
